Dear Baldies,
We had another great turn-up on Sunday with 26 Baldies in attendance under the supervision of Bernie Dineen. We also had a good committee meeting at Tran Tran last Thursday. Can you believe it - 9 Baldies in attendance and not one drop of alcohol consumed!! FebFast does that to people. Hang in there those doing it – we’re over ½ way.
SEASON LAUNCH:
The Committee has decided to launch the season on Sunday the 28th February with 2 events. We will have training in the morning starting at 8.30am but it will be a Breaky and Beep Test session at Marcellin. Come along to show your commitment and see how fit you are or you aren’t. At lunch time we will have a family BBQ and picnic at Finn’s Reserve in Templestowe starting about 12.30pm but more details to follow. This is primarily to get the wives and partners together along with kids. Please make every effort to get along to one of these at least and preferably both.
SUBS:
These have been kept at $200 for the season. If you don’t intend to play but will be a supporter, then $50 will gain you a membership as well as our new Baldies caps which will be given to all those who pay their subs. The money can be transferred to….

Make sure you put your name in the reference section. Some from last year were unaware that subs had to be paid. The money pays for umpires, medical supplies, jumpers etc and is essential for our on-going existence. It really isn’t a big amount but if you have difficulties with it then speak to me or Mr Stubbles (= Treasurer= Damien Menzies)
JUMPER NUMBERS:
We need to rationalize jumper numbers as some have jumper numbers and haven’t played for a year or two. Mr Secretary will call for numbers soon.

We also need to rationalize the email list. If you don’t want to be on it any more, please let me know and I will remove you.

Dear Baldies,
It looks as though the Baldies will contest Division One of the AFL Masters Superules season this year after some uncertainty as to our fate. We will retain a close connection with Brinswick Over 47’s again and supply left over old fogies to that team - mind you, some excellent old fogies they are.
Training has continued over the summer with good turn-ups on Sunday mornings. Sunday morning training starts at 8.30 am. We are alos having a run on Thursday evenings at 6.30pm. NB: NO BOOTS!!!!!!! Only runners.
